It’s not a big deal, but still, it’s quite surprising to see anything official reaching the old console. It may be a simple reminder for those who are still playing on the console, regardless of the challenges, such as the lack of a marketplace. Microsoft wants to reaffirm that there is a new generation with more performance, newer games, and backward compatibility with Xbox 360 games. However, people playing the old console certainly have their reasons for doing so. Maybe they can’t afford a new console, or simply can’t leave behind the memories built with the 360. And we won’t even discuss the possibilities with after-market software available for the console, that add some extra functionalities and can even make it a powerful house for emulation.
