TECNO, one of the leading names in the mid-range market and a powerful force in the AI segment, is gearing up to present a new Tecno Spark 40 series. The company will take the opportunity to present the world’s first Helio G200-powered smartphone. The new processor will debut in a smartphone dubbed TECNO Spark 40 Pro+. The new processor is the Helio G200, MediaTek’s new take on the mid-range 4G smartphone with a chipset capable of handling advanced AI tasks, and offers the best performance and efficiency for mid-range and low-end smartphones.
Great Performance for Everyday Tasks
The Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ will introduce the MediaTek Helio G200 to the world. It’s a next-gen 4G chipset boasting the 6nm process. It continues the legacy of the highest Helio G-series chips that brought interesting CPUs like the Helio G95, G99, and G100. It continues as the highest offering in this lineup. The chipset has 2 x ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz and 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. It delivers decent performance for everyday tasks and even some gaming.
The device scored nearly 470,000 on AnTuTu, marking a 10% performance gain compared to the past generation. Therefore, users can expect a significant improvement in app launches and more responsive interactions.
The SoC brings an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which brings a notable upgrade. The CPU operates at an increased 1.1 GHz frequency and delivers a 10% improvement in single-core graphics processing.

Tecno Spark 40 Series Launching in July
The Tecno Spark 40 series is set to reach the global markets in July. The smartphones will bring a nice design for the youth audience. They will be cost-effective smartphones with the design and sleekness of premium devices. Furthermore, users can expect a new set of AI features. These are not commonly seen in mid-range smartphones.
