The Nothing Phone (3) is coming soon, and the brand has been sharing a couple of teasers to build the hype for it. However, it seems that Walmart went ahead of the brand. The retailer shared some details of the new phone in a listing.

Nothing Phone (3) Listed With New Top Spec Variant

The Nothing Phone (3) has been listed on the Walmart Business page and let some small details slip ahead of the launch. For example, the device has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It can signal the arrival of a new top RAM and Storage configuration. The base variant is expected to come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage.

Unfortunately, this is the only new detail that appears in the listing. The image of the listing, unfortunately, uses a placeholder. It shows the Nothing Phone (2), and the other specifications are filled with Nothing Phone (3a) details.

The Nothing Phone (3) marks a new milestone as it will be available in Canada and the US with full support for AT&T and T-Mobile 4G and 5G bands. It makes the smartphone more interesting for customers that are reliant on these carriers.

The rumors point a price of $799 for the new smartphone, and it will go up to $899 for the 16GB/512GB. The price put the smartphone on the flagship territory and makes it a direct competitor to flagships from Google, Samsung, and Apple.

Major Performance Improvements and Other Changes

According to Nothing, the new smartphone will bring “premium materials” and “major performance upgrades”. That could indicate major upgrades in the phone’s build and chipset. The Nothing Phone (2) had the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from late 2021. This year, however, we could see the Nothing Phone (3) finally matching other flagships with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The phone should also bring further enhancements to NothingOS, one of its major highlights. Curiously, it is dropping the signature Glyph LED interface. It was one of its biggest differentiations from other brands, but some will certainly say this was a gimmick. Regardless of that, Nothing is expected to come up with a new dot-matrix display on the back, similar to the ASUS ROG series.

We expect more details to pop out as the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to launch on July 1.
