A new leak found inside the latest iOS 26 beta revealed the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra’s possible display resolution. An image dug out by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris reveals the upcoming Watch Ultra will feature a 422 x 514 px display resolution.
For context, the first and second-gen Watch Ultra feature 1.92-inch screens with 410 x 502px resolution. The higher pixel count on the upcoming Watch Ultra should imply a slightly larger 1.98-inch screen diagonal, possibly achieved through slimmer bezels.
Apple is expected to keep the same design as its predecessors, but it is rumored to gain satellite messaging and 5G RedCap – a dedicated network service for wearables. Watch Ultra 3 is also expected to bring a blood pressure monitoring service.
